We are the only Nepali organization in the U.S., and one of 71 community-based organizations
(among 585 applicants) to receive this opportunity initially.

Federal Recognition

CDC Foundation recently published a story about our Nepali Elder-guided Youth Partnership Vaccination Accessibility Liaison (NEYPVAL) team’s efforts. Our partnership with CDCF has helped us build a networking infrastructure in our community and also put our organization in the spotlight at the Federal level. This is a huge milestone for a non-profit organization like us and we couldn’t have done this without the help of our advisors and volunteers. Project Objectives

To reach Nepali-speaking people in Washington and Oregon States who otherwise would not be able to navigate the healthcare system easily, and who have had difficulty finding accurate information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccine, and influenza vaccine and services.

Project Goals

Equip influential messengers in the Nepali communities by providing training and materials.
Increase COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination opportunities and enhance provider partnerships for Nepali communities.
Establish NSS partnerships with state and local health departments and other community-based organizations (CBOs)
