Since 2020, Desautel Hege (DH) and the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) have been partnering with media outlets and community-based organizations across the state to provide outreach and education about COVID-19 and vaccines to communities with unique cultural, linguistic
or access needs. This effort is called the Washington State Department of Health Community Media
Outreach (CMO) program.
