Mission: NSS Sport committee was formed in October 2020. The mission of this committee is to unite all people of Nepali origin in the state of WA through sporting activities making sporting education, events, and training.
Objectives: To help NSS to achieve its goal and objective via sports.
Examples:
- Annual Tennis Tournament: Starting 2018, we have been hosting a yearly Table Tennis tournament. We will continue to own and organize this event.
- North West Jamghat Sports Tournament: Our soccer, volleyball, and golf teams participate in this annual tournament. The tournament is organized by members (Nepal Seattle Society, Nepali Association of Oregon, Nepal Cultural Society of BC) of Northwest Nepali organizations each year on a rotation basis.
- Dashain Cup: With the partnership with NSS, Seattle FC organizes this annual event starting in 2018. We will continue to partner and provide the help and support needed for this event.
- Youth Soccer Training Camp: We are going to launch the Youth soccer training camp soon. The budget is already approved, and we are working on the logistics.
