Mr. Sampurna H. Prajapati
President
Mr. Prajapati has been involved with NSS since its establishment in 2000. He has served NSS for two terms as an executive member and one term as a Vice-President. At the beginning of his involvement with NSS, Mr. Prajapati participated in various NSS cultural programs, performing in cultural dances and plays. He also put together various successful fund-raiser programs and other NSS events. Mr. Prajapati has been involved in various other NSS programs and activities such as technology management, website design, and NSS Publications which includes desiging program flyers, banners, menus.
Mr. Prajapati has a BS Degree in Computer Systems from City University of Seattle and is currently enrolled at Seattle University for his Master's Program. He works as a Network and Systems Administrator for Seattle Preparatory School and runs a web solutions business Newatech.com.
In his free time, Mr. Prajapati enjoys cooking, swimming, web design, photography and video production.

Mrs. Bandana Shrestha
Vice-President
Mrs. Shrestha is a former NSS performer, who has also served the organization as a Executive Member and a Treasurer in two separate terms. During her terms, she was actively involved in coordinating cultural programs, membership management, fundraisers, and other various events.
Mrs. Shrestha was one of the NSS Nepali Language School instructor who put together a two successful Nepali Language classes in Seattle.

Er. Subhash R. Prajapati
General Secretary
Mr. Prajapati is a socio-cultural activist and researcher, who has done his MA in Nepalbhasa (Newar Language) and Nepalese Culture from Tribhuvan University with topping the board in both the degrees. He is currently working for his PhD in ethnomusicology from University of Washington.
Also a software engineer by profession, he brings experience from various media as well as non-profit organizations from Nepal, India and globally, including but not limited to, Madhyapur Art Council, Institute of Newah Language and Culture – Sikkim, Buddhist Communication Center, Second World Buddhist Conference, Nepal-Asia Center for Strategic Studies and World Newah Organization.
In past years, he has been actively involved with NSS working on the website and newsletter and volunteering in the cultural programs.

Mrs. Kalpana Sharma
Treasurer
Mrs. Sharma is serving NSS for the second term as a Treasurer. Previouly, she served one term as an Executive Member. Beside holding a position of NSS Treasurer, Mrs. Sharma is involved as a Lead Fundraiser and Financial Coordinator and sub-coordinator for Membership Management.
Mrs. Sharma was aslo one of the NSS Nepali Language School instructor who put together a two successful Nepali Language classes in Seattle.

Ms. Shruti Upadhyaya
Joint Secretary
NSS Joint Secretery, Ms. Upadhyaya, is serving NSS Executive Team for the first time. She has been involved in NSS programs previouly as DJ and cultural dance performer.
Along with organization's administrative tasks, she looks over Public Relations and Communications Committee in coordination with General Secretary and other team members.
Ms. Upadhyaya has a BS degree in Computer Science from University of Idaho and currenlty works for AT&T as Software Programmer.

Mrs. Mingma Sherpa Chauhan
Joint Treasurer
Mrs. Chauhan has served as an Executive Member for a term in 2009-2011 and she's serving this term as a Joint Treasurer. In the past, she has performed on NSS stage as an excellent dancer in different events.
During her previous term, Mrs. Chauhan helped to organize various NSS events and activities, focusing on Food and Beverage Management, Membership Management, and ticket sales.
She leads our Membership Management Committee and also helps Treasure with financial managment.

Mr. Krish Rijal
Executive Member
Mr. Rijal is serving NSS for the second consecutive term as an Executive Member. He is a young and energetic person, who has excellent multi talent and knowledge in Nepalese culture and music. He also represents Bhutanese Nepalese community residing in Washington State.
This term, Mr. Rijal is working as a Lead Coordinator for NSS Youth Programs.
He is attending Seattle Central Community College for his Associate degree.

Ms. Mala Upadhyaya
Executive Member
Ms. Upadhyaya joins executive team to represent NSS Youth. She would like to focus on brining diversity in NSS cultural programs and also would like to involve in organizing events for young generations.
Ms. Upadhyaya is currently enrolled at University of Washington for her BS degree. |
Dr. Nitin Thapa
Executive Member
 Dr. Thapa is serving in the executive team for the first time. He has been involved with NSS for long time. In the past, he has contributed his valuable time in NSS stage management and audio systems during various events. Also, he has performed in NSS stage.
In this term Dr. Thapa is Leading Cultural Committee and working with a group of coordinators to make NSS cultural programs theme based, educational and technologically advanced. |
Mr. Puspa M. Shrestha
 Executive Member
Mr. Shrestha is serving NSS for second term as an Executive Member. He is an out spoken and multifaceted person who brings a positive energy to the team.
In the past, he put different ideas to the test to organize various NSS activities. He was also an in charge in sports activities, specially organizing volleyball games. In this term, he's coordinating Food and Beverage Committee to reflect the Nepalese food culture into NSS Events.

Mr. Suraj Ranjitkar
 Executive Member
Mr. Ranjitkar has been involved with NSS since year 2010 as an artist on NSS stage. He has shown his singing talents on couple NSS programs.
In the past, in his home town, Mr. Ranjitkar voluneered for local and international non-profit organizations such as Jaycess and Reiyukai.
Mr. Ranjitkar is one of the best soccer player in his home town, Madhyapur, Nepal.
