Nepalese in Seattle commemorated the auspicious Dashain and Deepawali festival with a cultural and social event at Asian Resource Center in Seattle, WA. The programstarted at 6 PM with a social hour and delecious Nepalese Dinner buffet. The dinner was followed by Nepalese cultural program, where talented local artists from Puget Sound area

performed their dancing and singing talents. At the program, NSS president Mr. Shree Ram Dahal welcomed everyone to the event and also thanked for all the volunteers for their hardwork and memebers for their support. Abhilasha Khanal, Akanchha Khanal, Bittu Adhikari, Bibek Chapagain, Suraj Ranjitkar, Basanti Biswa, Namuna Culturral Group, Sita Gurung, Tara Gurung, Krishna Gurung and Gorkhes in Black were among the artists who performed the cultural items on the stage.
During the event, the students of Nepali Language Class were given the Ceritficate of Recognition for successfully completing the program. Also, the newly joined life member of NSS, Mrs. Roshita Shrestha, was recognized. At the end, the event rocked all the guests with couple hours of open dance floor music by DJ Prakash and Sampurna.
Members and guests also exchanged the Dahain and Deepawali greetings with each other throughout the night.
